On May 25, 2025, the first seminar of the IPAC (International Practical Archery Confederation) China Chapter concluded successfully at the Henan Institute of Physical Education. Industry leaders from over 20 provinces and cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Fujian, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Chengdu, and Jiangsu—representing top club founders, provincial archery association heads, and senior equipment manufacturers—gathered to witness the pivotal transition of practical archery from conceptualization to implementation under the theme of "Pioneering a New Era of Archery." This seminar was not just theoretical discussion but a critical step to turn "practical archery" from an idea into reality.

Mr. Chen, the event representative, stated: "Today, we stand at a turning point in archery history, reconstructing the millennial genes of archery with a combat-oriented mindset. While traditional archery is confined to static target rings, IPAC has integrated dynamic tactical scenarios into competitions—this is not just a new beginning but a great innovation in archery history." He emphasized that unlike traditional static competitions, IPAC incorporates simulated combat scenarios, requiring archers to make target decisions and precise shots while moving. It has established comprehensive safety rules and competition standards to ensure fairness, elevating archery to a new form that blends mental strategy and physical competition.

At the seminar, IPAC revealed a business ecosystem developed through years of deep research and collaboration with domestic and international archery experts and practitioners. Focused on global market needs, this system directly addresses industry profit challenges. It has established a new three-tier competition matrix—"Regional Championships - National Championships - International Invitational Tournaments"—with high-value prize pools for each event. Through diversified commercial development such as sponsorships, live broadcast rights, and derivative products, IPAC helps clubs build multi-dimensional profit ecosystems, transforming them from single-experience spaces into sports business hubs with sustainable growth momentum.

The afternoon’s highlight was a live demonstration session on a 500-square-meter course, where over 30 participants acted as "practical archery shooters," dashing and maneuvering against the clock. Unlike traditional fixed targets, the course featured rotating "dynamic swing targets," tricky "angled circular knockdown targets," and "forbidden targets" that deducted points for accidental hits. Participants had to adjust their positions and shooting angles while calculating optimal trajectories and strategies.

Global Vision: Launching a New Era of Archery Civilization

Moving forward, IPAC will provide event design, first-event operation guidance, and traffic support for affiliated clubs, aiming to establish the first batch of certified clubs in each province by the end of the year. Internationally, it is negotiating qualification mutual recognition with the World Primitive Archery Championship and an international mounted archery championship to promote tactical archery rules on the global stage.
